Whether in production facilities, district heating networks or building services engineering – the quality of heating and cooling water is crucial for the operational safety, energy efficiency and longevity of your systems. Deposits, corrosion or biological contamination can lead to failures, increased energy consumption and high costs. We offer a wide range of precise analyses in accordance with recognised SWKI BT102-01 standards to reliably assess the quality of your water circuits.

Why regular water analysis pays off

Even small deviations in water chemistry can accelerate corrosion, promote scaling, or create conditions for microbiological growth.

Routine monitoring helps you detect changes early, plan maintenance proactively, and keep heat transfer surfaces clean, supporting stable performance and lower operating costs.

Clear, interpretable lab results also provide a sound basis for audits, operator documentation, and internal quality management.

Our range of services – water analyses

We can collect the following parameters for you in the water analyses:

  • Temperature
  • Turbidity (visual description)
  • Colour
  • pH value
  • Conductivity
  • Hardness (CaCO₃)
  • Total hardness
  • Chloride
  • Sulphate
  • Iron

From sample to recommendation

If desired, we support you from proper sampling through to interpretation of results. Based on your system type (heating, cooling, district heating), operating conditions, and observed issues (e.g., deposits, corrosion, biofouling), we translate measured values into practical recommendations—so you can act quickly and effectively.

Advanced analyses

In addition, we carry out numerous other chemical and physical tests, including:

  • Ammonium
  • Nitrite, nitrate
  • Phosphate
  • Heavy metals (e.g. copper, zinc)
  • Organic pollution parameters (COD, TOC, BOD)
  • Further analysis is available on request

Microbiological analyses

In addition to chemical parameters, we also test biological pollution with our accredited partner laboratory:

  • Microbiological tests
  • Legionella measurements

Early warning for hygiene and system integrity

Microbiological monitoring is particularly important where aerosols can form or where operating temperatures encourage growth. Early detection helps you implement targeted countermeasures and maintain safe, compliant operation.
