Only when required is the second component (peroxodisulphate) dissolved with water in the delivery container to activate the two component system at the point of use and then added completely to the container of the first component (chlorite solution). After a reaction time of 24 hours at room temperature, the chlorine dioxide solution is ready for use and stable for approx. 6 weeks.
