Mineral gluconates are contained in various pharma and cosmetic product application areas. We are pleased to present our new gluconates, as ideal auxiliaries to our comprehensive portfolio.
Zinc gluconate – Sebum-regulating care
Zinc is one of the elements whose traces are most commonly found in the human body. Zinc is in the skin needed for cell division, growth and regeneration. Moreover, zinc has an antioxidative and scar-forming action.
Zinc is a strong inhibitor of α-reductase, and hence normalises excessive sebaceous gland activity. To remain stable in cosmetics, zinc is first converted to the form zinc gluconate. It can be used for sebum-regulating, pore-shrinking as well as cleansing applications for oily and acne-prone skin.
Magnesium gluconate – Moisturising and refreshing care
Magnesium gluconate also has good properties which are beneficial for use in cosmetics. Magensium gluconate has moisturising and refreshing properties and strengthens the positive properties of vitamin E, vitamin B5 and PP. In hair care, magnesium gluconate strengthens the hair fibres.
Manganese gluconate – Rejuvenating care
Similarly to copper, manganese is a component of many enzymes and is involved, for instance, in bone formation, protection against oxidative stress as well as the supply of energy. Manganese gluconate has hydrating and rejuvenating properties and smooths out wrinkles. Our manganese gluconate can be used in anti-wrinkle care or as a multi-mineral complex combined with zinc and magnesium gluconate in cell-energising and skin-rehydrating creams or gels.
Copper gluconate – Vitalising care
Copper is the third most common trace element in our body and is present in practically all cells. Copper plays a key role in the stimulation of collagen and elastin formation, and helps restore the skin’s natural moisture content. The mineral is often combined with zinc and magnesium gluconate and augments cell vitality and regeneration. Either copper gluconate on its own or the combination of these three minerals have good moisture-binding properties.
Calcium gluconate – Care for dry Skin
Not only helps Calcium against dry skin but it can also be used in toothpastes.
