Triclosan still enjoys widespread use in the pharmaceutical industry as a preservative and as an active antimicrobial ingredient.

Although many producers are stopping their production of triclosan, we are happy to inform you that IMPAG AG offers triclosan in pharmaceutical excipient quality as well as in API quality (with DMF). Because there is no monograph for triclosan in the European pharmacopoeia, the material complies with the USP.
